A new life in Jesus Christ is so much better than a new year based on the Gregorian calender.

I remember the "day" my life was changed through Jesus Christ. Never ending life is so wonderous.

well said..... ... in additon i would like to point out that there is really nothing significant about january 1st..... ..neither astronomically or geologically..... ..nor even historically prior to it;s invention .... it;s just a random day that was picked out of the air by the people who began marking time with our current calendar ..... .......and truth is.... .. when a person has Christ... every day is the beginning of a new year.... .... ... .... and yet...... ..on this forum...... .january 1st does have a significance it seems to lack in other places... ... it is the birthday of no less than 20 of our forum members... ... 18 of which were not only born on the same day but which were also born in the same year... .. 1970..... ....what are the actual odds of that?...... .....i;m not a mathmatician or i would have tried to figure it out.... ... but it know it has to be something akin to winning the lottery.....

so .....to all 20 of our birthday lottery winners on the forum.... i would like to wish a happy birthday as well as a happy new year.... ...
