Eph 4:19 Who being past feeling....
I've often wondered why so many people want others to believe faith isn't about feelings.... when the Bible warns about those who "can't feel". Joy is a feeling. Peace is a feeling. Comfort is a feeling. Love is a feeling. Faith and feeling aren't entirely separate things. Faith brings feeling. Faith is lock step with Hope. What good is a faith that doesn't produce... Joy, Peace, Comfort, Love and Hope? Faith isn't throwing everything and the kitchen sink out into the abyss in an desperate attempt to make something "stick". Faith lays hold on the objects of our hopes. -

Isn't in a unwritten rule in Christianity that its okay to have bad feeling as long as you've still got faith? -

what has always surprised me is how the people who love to write off the arguments of other people as "emotionally driven" act... when something comes up that hits them in a soft spot or pushes their own buttons....... they come back with some of the most emotionally charged posts and threads i have ever seen....... ........ but then they always seem to give themselves an excuse for doing it.... an allowance and a free pass for themselves that they deny to others..... ........ sometimes i think their objections to the emotions and feelings of others is just a smoke screen put up to hide the fact they can;t deal very well with their own feelings or emotions..... and are often controlled by them just as much or even more than some of the rest of us are........
