I enjoy trying to figure what's going to happen in most any movie. I thought I would share somethings I think might happen/should happen in the new Star Wars trilogy....
1. Snoke is the father of Anakin OR.... at least was part of the plan.
Anakin's mother couldn't remember because her memory was wiped or she was part of the plan. I lean toward her memory being wiped.
2. Ren will kill his mother. Leia. (not my theory. A friend of mine's theory)
Killing Solo was the one act that could drive Ren to abandon any goodness left in him. Killing Leia will complete it.
3. Snoke planned or purposed the death of Anakin's mother.... to drive him to the darkside.
It didn't completely work because it didn't destroy the love he had left for any of his family.
4. Ren will not turn back to the light.
For me, this would really destroy the trilogy. I can't imagine the writers would be that silly to repeat everything from the original movies.
5. Ren will ultimately kill Snoke and seek to corrupt Rey. (Another theory from a friend). Don't know if I believe this or not. I think Snoke needs to live throughout the movies.
6. The "code" of the Jedi not having children was due the fact that their offspring were more powerful than their parents.
As the bloodline of the Jedi grew. So do their power. The Jedi knew it would be difficult for families of Jedi to destroy those who would turn to the darkside.
Ren and Rey are descendants of very powerful lines of the Jedi. Rey is not a Skywalker, but a descendant of long forgotten family of Jedi. Finn isn't a Jedi, just a force sensitive character with a Han Solo like background.
7. Yoda had a family. We'll probably see a member of his family in the next movie. Maybe a very old Jedi family line.
8. Snoke planted the prophecy of the "one who would bring balance to the force" as means to destroy his enemies.
9. The Knights of Ren are the remaining students of Luke.
They are scattered throughout the galaxies under orders of Snoke.

looking at the trailer for episode 8... rogue one...... i could;t find anyone i remember
being in episode 7...... ....i thought that was kinda weird...... unless they are just saving
them up for something later..... ...from the looks of it though it does appear as if this
next movie will be much better than the dissappointment episode 7 turned out to be.....
....it seems even for george lucas capitalizing on previous success is every bit as hard as
remaking a movie that was once considered a classic is...... .. honestly i hope he pulls it off....
it;s been a while since i returned to a theater more than twice to see the same movie on screen......
i would love to enjoy doing that again..... say going back to see the same movie 4 or even 5 times......
....you would be surprosed what you can see even the 5th time you see a movie that you never saw
the first time..... but that;s only worth doing if the movie totally blows you away on that first visit.......

Its a little confusing but Rogue One is set in-between Episode 3 and Episode 4. Really almost touching Episode 4....It centers around the story of those who stole the original Death Star plans.
I personally don't like the idea of doing a side story like this. There are rumors that there will be some tie in or back story that will feed into the new trilogy story line.
I'll probably go see it... Lord willing.

so the next star wars movie is actually episode 3 and 1/2 ?.........
.... i didn;t know that....... but it;s also a little depressing....... ..... coz in the very first star wars ... episode 4... they said the brave rebels who brought them the battle star plans had given their lives to do so......
...which means now they are basically telling us the heros in the next movie are automatically toast from the start......
........what a bummer......

Yep. That's how I understand it. The back story might be interesting if it plays into episode 8. I don't think it will that much. I suspect its just the first attempt of many..... to expand the Star Wars universe. They need the money.
