  Speaking of which, I started the hobby of wine making.  I can't tell you how well it's working because my first batch is still fermenting.  I used Welch's grape juice, not grapes. I also plan to try other 100% fruit juices, just for fun.  The grape juice wine is in a 1 gallon jug meant for fermenting along with an air lock to allow CO2 to escape but prevent air from getting in.  But I'm also going to try "hobo wine", which you ferment right in the original juice container.  I'll let you know how that works.

  i never eat wonder bread or twinkies anyway... .. so i am ok.... ... but at least now i know why so many people that do eat them say they are addicting.... ..... ....
  
  actually... in the video it said it would take over 1400 twinkies to deliver the same amount of alcohol as one beer.....forget the alcohol... that would be fatal all by itself...... .... .. and with most of the other foods... even the ones where the delivered alcohol amount was much higher.... the concern of the video maker is a little misplaced.... .....eating a food with a nominal amount of alcohol in it means you are consuming food and spirits together...... .. they hit your stomach at exactly the same time and already mixed...... ..that is much safer and mush less likely to intoxicate than consuming alcohol on an empty stomach.... or even from a glass in between bites.... .. .something i wish the phd in the video had said more about.... ... .......
  
  .. but i do like it that the video at least admitted that with the majority of those foods..... just like with the twinkie....... you would have to eat enough of them to make yourself barf monkeys before the alcohol showed any real effect..... ...
  
  but i do see how this would all be a problem for the purist - abstain from all alcohol types.... ..whether intoxicating or not....... those who won;t even take cough syrup or use medicines that might contain alcohol...... ..i don;t drink alcoholic beverages as a matter of medical necessity but even i don;t have to take it that far.... ... but i do abstain from eating the black rum filled dark chocolates i make every year around christmas time..... ... i give them out as gifts to friends and family..... ... most people say it takes at least 4 of them to get a recognizable effect....... .. i have to test them in small nibbles as i make them to make sure they are going to taste right.... . and that;s enough for me..... ......

  it reminded me of the movie zombie land..... where one of the main characters was on a quest to find the last twinkies left on earth..... ... they find an overturned hostess truck and get all excited..... but when they open it it;s full of snowballs..... ..he walked away disgusted ..... ..but thats where i would have been loading up my backpack... ..plus every other bag i could find.... .... ..especially during a zombie apocalypse.... ... .and then munching snowballs all day..... .... ...even if they got me drunk......  ..
